Maneflow Co. is a spec telehealth hair growth company with a new tone -- one that speaks to women who want not just utilitarian function from their hair regimen, but formulas that prioritize efficacy while still making them feel human.
Research into the concerns of women with Androgenetic Alopecia (the most common cause of hair loss in women and men) showed that many felt disconnected from most medical-grade treatments available to them as they were marketed primarily towards older men. These women also considered their condition to have a significant impact on their mental health, and felt that having to use unpleasant treatments (e.g. ones that were greasy, smelled bad, or stung) further contributed to their emotional toll.
I crafted Maneflow Co.'s messaging with an intent to bring playfulness and lightheartedness to a condition many people find depressing or heavy, and reframe hair growth treatments as another kind of self care that can actually be enjoyed. The home page and product description alternate between a fun, almost game-ified persona and clear yet approachable details, positioning Maneflow Co. against the dry messaging typical of clinical providers and getting to the heart of what's really affecting its audience.
